The Royal College of Physicians’ Accreditation Unit, and Diabetes UK are delighted to announce the launch of the Diabetes Care Accreditation Programme (DCAP). The first of its kind, DCAP aims to improve care by setting quality standards and measuring service performance through external peer assessment. NHS services that deliver inpatient care for patients with diabetes, can now sign up to the programme and start their accreditation journeys.
You can also read more about how the programme came to fruition with our clinical lead Dr Daniel Flanagan and senior clinical advisor Esther Walden, here. The first 24 services who sign up to the programme will receive a £500 early bird discount. For registration details and to find out how your service can get involved, click here.
